Good bye ABLADZI our Beloved Friend

Isaiah 43:1-2

Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name; you are mine
When you pass through the waters I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you;
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
And the flame shall not consume you.
You are precious in my eyes, and honoured,
And I love you.

You were stylish cultured and powerful

Your elegance and beauty attracted all and sundry to you more than bees to honey

You were fearless, all conquering and freely expressed your opinion at all times because you always believed in the freedom of speaking your mind

No wonder you were revered for your courageousness, gallantry, nerve and guts

Alas, we will remember you as the gentle and gorgeous warrior, full of bravery, fortitude and courage.

Your battles of the mind were many and fierce, but your glory and triumphs were in winning them with zeal and resilience.

But all too soon, you are gone and our hearts bleed deeply with pain and sorrow for your loss

Nevertheless, we are honoured that you shared those magical moments with us. Thank you for encouraging us to stand up and be counted in what we believe in.

We will continue that legacy you left behind and uphold them firmly as a tribute to all that you were and stood for!

Good bye ABLADZI our beloved Friend, you are gone but not forgotten

As the verse says …He has called you to become His, so REST IN PERFECT PEACE!

Tribute by Nii Ayi

“To everything there is a season,

A time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born,

And a time to die;

A time to weep,

And a time to laugh;

A time to mourn,

And a time to dance”.

(Ecclesiastes 3: 1 – 2, 4)

Friends, you were with us not long ago; together we saw the rising of
the sun as dawn turned to day. And just as the sunset glows and
disappears quickly into darkness, so are we in shock to hear that you
were here with us just some few years ago and now you are gone but not
to be forgotten.

This is why we join forces not to say farewell, but to celebrate your
lives and applaud the goodness and wonderful memories that you left
for us.

Comrades you were the very essence of compassion, of hard work, of
duty, of style, and of beauty. So this is our chance to say a BIG
THANK YOU for the way you shared your lives with us, to brighten ours.

We pay tribute to you dear friends and we are all united not
only in our desire to pay our respects to you, but also in our need to
do so because of your fortitude. For such was your astonishing charm
and immeasurable friendship extended to all of us. These has changed
our lives in so many ways. Now you are gone and we feel cheated,
lonely and grief stricken.

However we are comforted by the belief that

your spirits lingers around us in dare times. For this reason we hold aloft the
cherished moments we spent together.

We pay reverence to you dear friends, because you were exceptional and
gifted individuals. In good times and bad times you never lost your
knack to go the extra mile or to inspire us with your warmth,
kindness, resoluteness and big-heartedness.

We admire and respect you for the legacy of strength, energy,
commitment and the symbol of sacrifice that you left behind for us.

We salute you for your bravery, courage and the exceptional
determination to succeed whatever the cost or obstacles.

Friends you were unique, complex, extraordinary, and will forever be
irreplaceable. Though we grief at your loss, the memories you have
left for us will never ever be extinguished from our hearts and souls
because of the love we have for you.

So we take solace in these words from Henry Van Dyke:

"Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear,
too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but
for those who love, time is eternity."

Thanks to your efforts
now we live to show the world that we
have matured to carry on the good fight that you started with us.

Like the songwriter said:

“You were the Grace that place yourself where lives were torn apart…

Now you belong to heaven and the stars spell out your name.

Loveliness we have lost, these empty days without your smile.

This touch we will carry…

And even though we try, the truth brings us to tears all our words
cannot express the joy you brought us through the years”.

We inevitably despair at your loss but are comforted by these words
from the good book.

“ I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the
latter day upon the earth; and though after my skin worms destroy this
body, yet in my flesh shall I see God, whom I shall see for myself,
and mine eyes shall behold and not another”.

(Job 19:25 – 27)

We know you are gone, but pain you will feel no more, as you rest in
the bosom of our Lord. You are dear to our hearts and we are so proud
to have had the opportunity to have met you all.

Therefore, goodbye and so long dear friends, for although we know we
will never see you again, the time we spent together throughout all
the years, the love and the radiant lasting memoirs imprinted in our
spirit and minds will wipe away our tears, pain and sense of grief.

You are gone but not forgotten....
